About the Role: This role will be central to the functioning and success of the CEOs office, Mayor and Executive team through a period of organisation change and improvement. The successful candidate will be encouraged to make the role their own whilst fulfilling the role requirements to; Act as the primary point of contact and analyse, assess and prioritise requests and initiate action, to facilitate optimal use of organisation and civic leaders.
Prepare, coordinate and review executive level communication including presentations, briefing notes and correspondence to respond to issues and inquiries. Research, collate and coordinate reports, advice and briefings to support informed decision making and planning. Manage diary appointments, arrange meetings, respond to invitations and correspondence, coordinate travel arrangements and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of the office of the CEO, Mayor and Councillors.
Monitor, implement and evaluate administrative practices, systems and procedures within the office of the CEO to optimise efficiency and support the delivery of quality outcomes.
