About the role

A rare opportunity has come up for a highly experienced Executive Assistant to come and join our high-performing and inclusive team here at RACQ Bank. Supporting our Chief Executive and the Bank Leadership team, you will be willing to take personal accountability to ensure that stakeholder needs are met, especially when we have competing priorities. You will take initiative to get results and hold a professional approach when handling confidential and sensitive matters. Further to this, you assist the Banking team by providing governance compliance support, providing assurance and framework management, contributing to policy, process and systems.

Your key duties will include:

  • Providing quality, timely and efficient high-level administrative service to the Chief Executive Bank and Bank leadership team, in a professional and pro-active manner, with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality, and meeting all deadlines.
  • Assisting with development and coordination of relevant papers for Board, Committee and Management Reporting and administrative support; including ensuring banking governance compliance.
  • Managing the Chief Executive Bank’s diary including arranging meetings and appointments as required and ensuring that the Chief Executive Bank is adequately prepared for meetings with all necessary pre-reading and documentation.
  • Facilitating and coordinating Banking departments in developing departmental objectives and execution plans.
  • Source and verify information, prepare, and distribute reports and documents for the Chief Executive Bank as required.

About you

Success in this role will be delivered through your strong ability to manage and build positive stakeholder relationships, strong coordination, planning and organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly in a team environment to deliver quality results in agreed deadlines.

As a successful candidate, you will bring:

  • Extensive experience within a secretarial or executive level administration role.
  • Experience within a large corporate environment, familiar with board meetings and executive level stakeholder management.
  • Well-developed capability to establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders, and to effectively influence their views, decisions and actions through well-reasoned and researched arguments.
  • Ability to identify and manage confidential matters on behalf of the Chief Executive Bank, displaying a high level of tact across all interactions.
  • Exceptional computer literacy, with the ability to interpret and source information and/or materials required by the Chief Executive Bank.
  • A basic understanding of Banking operations, experience within Financial Services highly regarded.
