About the role
The City of Swan is looking for a highly organised, extremely proficient Executive Assistant for our Executive Director Community Wellbeing
In a fast paced, politically sensitive environment, the Executive Assistant, Community Wellbeing is responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective high level, daily business support service to the Executive Director Community Wellbeing to enable them to focus on strategic issues.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Proactively coordinating Divisional and Executive activities
Undertaking a key liaison role between the Mayor, Council members, CEO, Executive Directors, business unit Managers and other major stakeholders
High level diary and active correspondence management and coordination
Providing efficient and prompt administrative support to meetings and functions
Prioritising and providing responses and actions to all requests
Undertaking research, analysing data and preparing reports and presentations for the Executive Director Community Wellbeing and Council

About you
Ideally you will have:
Strong organisational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Demonstrated skills in data analysis, policy development and report writing
Tertiary degree in a relevant area such as Commerce, Arts, or equivalent experience
A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.
About working with us
The salary for this position will be from $78,678 to $92,407 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
