Reporting directly to the Director Infrastructure & Development and Director Community & Corporate, the focus of this role is to provide effective and efficient assistance in the areas of administration, strategic organisational support, customer service and project management.

Job Description
This fast-paced and varied role will act as the point of contact for the Shire of Capel Directors. The successful candidate will provide professional executive support, and act as an effective liaison with Councillors, staff, and community members and customers. Some of the main duties and responsibilities will include ensuring successful completion of projects and tasks, assisting with procurement and purchasing, grant applications, generation of agendas and minutes, as well as coordinating diary arrangements. The role will also involve compiling, generating and distribution of documents, projects and tasks, assisting with research, reporting and record keeping.
Amongst other duties of the role are coordination and administrative support on the development and adoption of key strategic documents, including the Strategic Community Plan, Corporate Business Plan and Annual Report, providing assistance with planning civic functions, workshops and special events and liaising with the Communications Coordinator for internal and external information sharing.
