The College is seeking to appoint a Digital & Design Technologies Technician (Food and Textiles) to commence in Term 1, 2024. This is a permanent vacancy for a part-time (0.8 FTE) Technician to join the team to assist with the management of an efficient and functional Design Technologies Department.
This role will work between Monday and Friday during term time only.
We are seeking applicants with the ability to maintain textile and food equipment, experience in stock control, excellent organisation and sound food handling and time management skills.

- The successful applicant will have:
- Year 12 completion or equivalent
- Experience in stock control
- Experience in the evaluation of quality and value of goods
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Familiarity of textiles and food technology equipment
- Sound textile and food handling and preparation experience
- Experience in maintaining clean good preparation areas
- Experience in pattern making, yarn work and screen printing will be highly regarded.
- A current Working with Children card (WWC) or willingness to obtain one
