The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) is looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Executive Assistant to join their organisation, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
About the REIV:
The REIV is the peak body for real estate professionals in Victoria. Our mission is to lead, advocate for and represent the real estate industry to advance the professionalism of members.
The REIV is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), and our members must undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to retain their membership.
The Role
The Executive Assistant is required to provide efficient, professional and proactive support to the Chief Executive Officer, the Board Secretary and the President.
The main responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative assistance to the CEO.
- Diary management, call screening and ensuring timely action to all correspondence
- Assist with meeting preparation including setting up internal and external meetings, agenda preparation, minute taking and follow up as required.
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Co-ordination of management and board functions and activities as required.
- Relief back up to office manager, board secretary and other roles where necessary
- Various other tasks as required by the CEO, Board Secretary, President and Executive Team
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Strong computer literacy skills, including management of virtual meetings, minute taking.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Experience liaising with multiple senior stakeholders.
- High degree of flexibility
- Ability to exercise discretion in all dealings and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, building effective relationships.
- A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and contributing to a positive and ethical culture.
- Victorian Driver's Licence required.
- Occasional regional travel.
