Based in the Inner East/City fringe and close to public transport, our client is an industry-owned, industry-led, not for profit organisation. Highly regarded and at the forefront of their target industry sector, they have deep stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively to focus on addressing skills and workforce issues for the sector, with national reach.The Role
This newly created role provides high level executive and administration support to the organisation's various committees and industry taskforces. You are responsible for ensuring governance arrangements and protocols are in place and for all meetings to be effectively scheduled, conducted and supported.This role works closely with the Stakeholder Engagement team and provides support to guide the organisation's focus on building partnerships between industry and the education/training sector.Key elements of the role are:
- Provide exceptional meeting planning and support for a group of committees and industry taskforces
- Manage and support the performance of the administration officer
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and other required documentation
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Provide effective administrative and project support
To be successful in this role it is essential you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level, contemporary board/committee secretarial function to an organisation, ideally (but not necessarily) in a highly regulated NFP environment
