Reporting to the Executive Group Manager, Infrastructure and Light Rail Program Director, the Executive Branch Manager, WHS will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of MPC’s WHS Management System which covers both the WHS duties of MPC as an employer and the WHS duties of MPC as a supplier of services to the ACT Government.
As a key member of MPC’s leadership team, the Executive Branch Manager, WHS role will be pivotal in building a mature safety culture within the Directorate and to improve on safety outcomes delivered by MPC through the delivery of construction related project management, procurement, and contract management services.

Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $274,784 - $285,773 depending on the current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $244,201.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
