As a key member of the Executive Leadership team this role contributes to the strategic direction and management of the State Library, ensures alignment with compliance requirements, establishes effective workforce management and organisational development strategies, that drive innovation and growth of the Library.
The role leads financial and budget strategy for the Library and oversees the day-to-day financial operations. It also has oversight of the Library's procurement and asset management functions.
The Executive DirectorCorporate Services is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team with five direct reports and reporting to the State Librarian and CEO. We are seeking a self-motivated, service-oriented person who is proactive and has a solutions approach to work and will actively contribute to the achievement of the State Library's strategic goals. You will have the ability to establish productive working relationships across the organisations and with key strategic external stakeholders.
The Executive DirectorCorporate Services acts as the Chief Finance Officer and as such is required to hold relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration as a Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional bodies (or holding equivalent finance related post graduate qualifications)
