Join our People, Communication & Workplaces enabling division that provides human resources services, communication, workplace services and intergovernmental services including government relations, ministerial and parliamentary services. Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, People, Communication & Workplaces, you will be an integral part of our newly established Division Leadership Team. In this critical role you will provide leadership to implement strategies to create workplaces where our people can thrive. You will be accountable for Transport for NSW accommodation and workplace strategies, priorities and budgets across regional NSW and metropolitan areas and provide best practice advice for the delivery of large-scale Workplace programs of work across a diverse statewide portfolio. You will use your understanding of current and future property needs to develop programs to design, fit out and improve workplaces, while driving Transport’s property and Workplace strategies, and the workplace experience through site operations and facilities management. The role requires a strong understanding of how operational workforces deliver their services.
You will also be accountable for the strategic leadership and direction of the Transport for NSW accommodation planning and investment strategies and priorities across regional NSW and metropolitan areas.
This is a full-time ongoing Transport Senior Service Executive TSSE2A level role offering an attractive remuneration package.

About you
You are a collaborative and transformational people leader at a senior executive level with expertise and proven success in leading teams through change and building a positive culture while driving day-to-day outcomes as well as to lead organisation-wide strategic change in large industrial organisations.
You are a property subject matter expert with a strong understanding of implementing property and workplace strategies that enable and support the organisational needs as well as expertise in capital expenditure and property commercial principles.
Being a strategic advisor, you are agile, forward thinking and highly adept at managing sensitive matters. As such, you have experience at a senior level in strategy setting, leading a portfolio or division and delivering strategic business property outcomes.
You have the communication skills and gravitas to influence and build strong relationships with senior leaders to drive outcomes in a complex customer centric and fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you are passionate about delivering exceptional client service to your stakeholders, supporting and enabling colleagues and teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.
