About the opportunity
As the Executive Financial Controller you will be responsible for developing and executing our long term strategic planning in consultation with the CEO & MD and COO, procurement, financial compliance and team management.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage financial operations for scalability, business expansion and delivery of functional objectives (BAU).
- Effective management of budgets, forecasting, cash flow and company assets
- Ensuring compliance with all financial, legal, governance and legislative requirements
- Establish and oversee corporate finance policies and compliance.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide strategic financial insights and mentor the finance team.
- Implement innovative financial practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for organisational improvements.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field and CPA/CA qualified.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Can easily adjust from strategic to operational as required.
- Advanced analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning skills.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Proficient in data analytics and financial.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills
