A unique leadership opportunity has presented itself within the SEO team for an Executive General Manager reporting to the Chief Information Officer to drive IT technology delivery and value for Operations & Networks teams at nbn.
A bit about your role
Reporting to the nbn Chief Information Officer, the Executive General Manager SEO Operations & Networks is accountable for the end-to-end program of interrelated initiatives and IT services required across the full IT lifecycle, combining business-led developments and technology lifecycle driven developments.
You will lead and facilitate strong partnerships with Exco members and the Senior Leadership Teams in order to drive business value. This includes the reliability and security of the IT systems in support of the business operations. You will also lead and inspire a strong team to implement and operate the resulting technologies, and to support their SEO peers in doing the same for other parts of nbn where technologies and processes overlap.
This role will sit within the senior leadership team of the business and within SEO. As a senior leader in SEO, the EGM is expected to maintain a compelling vision for their team, consistent with the overall SEO vision, and retain and develop an engaged, diverse and adaptive and team.
A bit about you
If this role sounds like a good match for you, it’s likely that you have significant leadership experience in IT roles including senior roles in IT delivery and/or DevSecOps, preferably in telecommunications or associated industries.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in a complex environment, establishing high performing, empowered, collaborative and accountable teams, with a proven ability to provide business critical governance direction and be accountable for delivery governance outcomes in a complex environment.
You will have exceptional executive level communication and influencing skills at all levels with the ability to translate detailed IT concepts in to meaningful stakeholder engagement with a relentless drive for results.
