Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading a large housekeeping team, delivering the housekeeping benchmarks and overall housekeeping operations in accordance with Silk's high standards. This is a rare opportunity to truly make a difference in the industry and contribute to the opening of one of the most exciting and luxurious hotels in Busselton.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the executive team to set the vision, standards, and service level for our luxury hotel. Oversee all pre-opening activities, and meticulous preparation for a flawless launch.
- Mentor, manage, plan and coordinate a team of passionate and dedicated professionals. Foster a culture of exceptional service, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
- Ensure every aspect of the housekeeping department, meets the highest standards of luxury and excellence. Strive for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop and manage budgets and control cost efficiency while maintaining uncompromising luxury standards.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure that the hotel is presented well, by establishing and implementing operational procedures and standards.
As an accomplished leader, your main goal will be to support a happy, highly productive team that provides our clients with great service. You will demonstrate complex problem-solving abilities and take pride in your excellent customer service abilities.

- This is a full time, permanent role. The right candidate will have flexibility to work a mix of weekdays and weekends, totalling 38 hours per week, spread over 5 days.
