The Executive Level 1Investment Oversight Lead is responsible for leading a small team to manage, coordinate and improve IP Australia’s change delivery standards, annual investment process and portfolio oversight functions. This includes supporting project and program teams to effectively deliver change initiatives in line with enterprise frameworks, and providing IP Australia’s Executive with evidence-based advice on the health of the investment portfolio.
Position duties
As the Investment Oversight Lead, you will:
- Manage the portfolio investment process, including maintaining oversight of project and program performance
- Regularly engage with project and program teams across the Agency to provide practical advice and support that promotes good practice and compliance with corporate standards
- Maintain and improve enterprise change delivery frameworks and supporting materials
- Support education and training to help mature IP Australia’s change delivery capabilities
- Provide accurate, timely and engaging portfolio analysis and reporting that enables effective decision making
- Promote the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) role, function and standards across the Agency
- Engage, cooperate and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels to identify opportunities, solve issues and achieve positive outcomes
- Contribute to other activities across the PMO and the Governance Group as needed.
