As the Executive Manager Motor Claims Partnerships you will be responsible for driving exceptional cost and claim outcomes by leading and empowering a team focussed on the delivery of Best in Class customer, cost and risk mandates.
Reporting to the Head of Repair & Supplier Performance, you will manage a National suite of suppliers across the supply chain including Mobility, Salvage, Mercantile, Legal, and ancillary services, along with providing strategic support to the operational repair teams and Suncorp repair network. This role is fundamental in the development and execution of the business strategy and impacts financial success through timely management of Supplier performance and strategy.
You will be highly communicable while developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Motor Claims LT, Suppliers, Risk & Procurement teams.
What you'll do (in a snapshot)
- Design and deliver the Motor Claims Customers (MCC) supply chain strategy, including Horizons 1-3 ambition and repair market shaping activities.
- Identify and shape the MCC partnerships ecosystem, ensuring inconnectivity between repair and claims support services (towing, hire car, glass, recoveries & settlements).
- Manage, investigate and external knowledge on emerging industry trends (domestic and global) to inform the supply chain strategy.
- Support supplier management, including ongoing contract management and control, collation of performance data (through overseeing supplier performance data collection and analysis) and plan and execute supplier meetings, as required.
- Keeping up to date with any relevant regulatory changes and impacts to ensure supply chain meets compliance requirements to mitigate risks
- Completion and maintenance of supplier risks assessments and other artefacts
- Contribute to the design and delivery of the Parterships pipeline of initiatives to enhance customer, cost and quality benefits.
- Maintain a Supply governance and control framework that ensures contract and performance compliance by suppliers
- Maintain supplier performance profiles through scorecard reporting, formal meeting interactions, quality benchmarking, etc.
What you'll bring (qualifications & experience)
- Tertiary qualifications in business or commerce related discipline (mandatory)
- MBA (desired) Experience (minimum type and level of experience required to perform the role)
- Minimum 10 years Management experience leading large-scale supply performance (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years Smash Repair or related industry supply chain experience (desired)
- Minimum 5 years Insurance experience (desired).
