ABOUT THE ROLE

The Corporate Services Division is responsible for the essential provision of finance, human resources, knowledge management and information technology, procurement, infrastructure and contracts and workforce service functions and the Executive Office oversees project management and the office of the Deputy Director General. The Division has considerable influence on the outcome of effective and efficient business functions and associated advisory services delivered throughout the Department.

The Executive Officer is responsible for providing executive, administrative and secretarial support within the Corporate Services Executive Office. The position provides a liaison and coordination role across the Department on behalf of the Deputy Director General of Corporate Services and undertakes research, analyses documents and provides background briefings, ministerials and quality control. In addition, the Executive Officer assists with ensuring the efficiency and compliance of the Directorate on risk, audit and governance.
