About the Position
The City of Onkaparinga is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Executive Officer act as the primary interface to Office of the CEO, and to provide comprehensive executive support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to address the evolving strategic and operational priorities of our council.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role entails supporting the CEO to ensure the quality, effectiveness, and timely delivery of services, as well as coordinating the strategic management of requests and enquiries on behalf of the CEO.

You are curious and tenacious, getting to the bottom of issues and connecting information sources to provide the CEO with comprehensive insights. You are skilled at managing both positive and challenging communications, effectively deescalating and solving problems. You are a tech-savvy, proficient with databases, ERP software, and emerging automation/AI concepts. Most importantly, you understand the importance of being the CEO’s safety net, checking facts, ensuring advice is accurate, and anticipating issues. Your intelligence, discretion, and sensitivity to the CEO's needs are paramount.
