Details: The Analytics and Evaluation Branch (A&E) leads and is accountable for the collection, analysis, and reporting on key educational data sets to the Minister for Education; Education Directorate Executive; schools; and other key stakeholders to support school improvement in the ACT.
A&E manages the delivery and analysis of local, national, and international assessment programs and surveys, and leads the Directorate’s evaluation program, working with business units to scope, conduct and report on policy and program evaluations.
The Enrolments and Planning Branch (E&P) is responsible for developing, leading and managing the Directorate’s student enrolment policy and planning for school infrastructure in response to population growth and student demand.
E&P also provides advice on options to manage school demand, including new and expanded school infrastructure, and on land planning/school siting needs for the ACT school system.
The Executive and Branch Support Officer is the heart of the Branch, and has a central role in managing workflows to ensure the smooth and effective operations across the branch and executive office, including management of finance and HR activities.
The role requires a self-motivated, detail orientated person, with very strong organisation skills. Most importantly, the role requires fantastic interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate within and across work areas, including managing upwards.
While A&E is all about data, strong data literacy is not a requirement for the role.

2.Experience using Microsoft Office applications and HPRM/TRIM is desirable.
