Details: We are seeking a school leader with experience working with children in the early and primary years of schooling, and their families. The successful applicant will lead inclusive teaching and learning from P-6, whilst contributing to the delivery of administration services and the fulfilment of governance and regulatory obligations associated with Inclusive Education.
As a member of the Ainslie School Executive Team, this officer will lead Inclusion strategy and practice across the school. They will:
- bring expertise to design, deliver and monitor education services with a focus on inclusion, inquiry, personalised practice, authentic contexts and student agency.
- identify workforce needs and support the empowerment of staff to promote inclusion, foster diversity and cultivate collective efficacy.
- support productive engagement between staff and families, professional networks and community collaborators to maximise student growth.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.
- Experience in specialist education settings.
Mandatory:Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute). A current registration issued through Access Canberra under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
