Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking passionate Exercise Physiologist(s) with experience in the Allied Health Industry and relevant qualifications ready to step up and be a part of an emerging and dynamic small mobile Allied Health team.

About The Role

Our Exercise Physiologists and associated health practitioners deliver key outcomes for our diverse client base with a focus on strength and vitality through treatment and development of training programs. 

Based across multiple sites on the northern end of the Gold Coast, plus offering personalised home consultations, each day is varied and provides opportunity for learning while ensuring consistency, support and measurable outcomes for our growing number of long term regular attendees.

Due to our current workload and projections for future expansion, we have multiple opportunities available for the right applicants. We can offer casual, part time, full time and contractor style employment depending on the applicant. We would encourage new graduates to also apply given the variety of work and services encountered daily as this would provide an amazing foundation into your new career as a highly regarded and skilled Exercise Physiologist.

The core components of the role will be:

• Clinical exercise prescription of DVA, Medicare, NDIS and Workcover patients.
• One on one case loads as well as small group training.
• Working knowledge of billing systems and software – preferred but not essential
• Understand reporting guidelines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Accredited Exercise Physiologist, ESSAM
• Experience working in a similar role – preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work in a small and close-knit team.
