The opportunity:
Made To Move is looking for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team. This part-time role (2-3 days/week) will be based at our practice in Orange and we can be flexible on the specific days and hours that suit. Come in and hit the ground running with our existing client base.
This position would be a great fit for an experienced practitioner or graduate looking for a reputable, supportive and experienced team and opportunity to progress their career. You will be working directly with the patients to administer and progress their exercise programs. With a truly comfortable and progressive set-up, you will work in the clinic and the onsite gym/hydrotherapy pool to play a vital role in the rehabilitation and ongoing care of our patients.
About you:
We are looking for an accredited Exercise Physiologist who has:
- An Accredited EP degree and relevant registration with ESSA
- Strong skills in exercise prescription
- Good relationship-building capacity and a friendly approach to patients and the work team
- Ability to build professional relationships with local GPs and specialists
- A high level of self-motivation and a passion to build the brand and client base
- Time management skills with the ability to manage a diverse case mix
- Medicare Provider Number and Professional Indemnity Insurance (or soon to attain) / personal liability insurance
- Rights to work in Australia
- Current police clearance and working with children check
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing patients with evidence-based treatment
- Assessing and planning exercise programs for clients
- Collaborating with team members to provide high-quality treatments
- Establishing/reviewing care plans
- Providing exercise and health education to patients
- Liaising with on-site patients
