An exciting opportunity exists to join the award winning Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) – Cardiac Rehabilitation team on a temporary part-time until March 2025.

What you'll be doing
Leading and prescribing exercise to cardiac patients (individual and group). Patient assessments and education sessions. Research and development projects. Professional development opportunities are available.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in an exercise science related field with eligibility for accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with ESSA.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of an evidence based Exercise Physiology service to consumers, carers and families requiring the physical activity management and rehabilitation of people with a wide variety of chronic and complex conditions.
