Pioda Health & Performance is looking for an Exercise Physiologist o join our amazing team.
The company is growing and we are in need of an Exercise Physiologist that will help us continue to grow and be a part of this company for many years to come. The company is specifically looking for an AEP (experience required) to work in our Rehabilitation Department providing exercise therapy to a variety of clientele including, musculoskeletal, behavioural, and neurological.
We are predominately a mobile allied health company, however we also have a facilities we work out of in Middle Park, Preston and Werribee. We service most, if not all of Melbourne. We are a registered NDIS provider.

As the Exercise Physiologist you will be responsible in coordination and delivery of Exercise for NDIS and chronic condition clients. You will be responsible in providing support and education to people with prescribed exercise programme.
On offer is a part time/full time position, working various hours and shifts as required across a mobile based position.
What you’ll do
- Deliver individualise exercise programs to Pioda clients, assisting them to engage in exercise
- Demonstrate an empathetic approach regarding the benefits and potential barriers to exercise
- Design and execute individual exercise prescriptions for clients based on their medical history, personal characteristics and approved NDIS plans
- Maintain detailed records and communications with all relevant parties
- Provide a high level of motivation, passion, and enthusiasm to client sessions
- Ongoing professional development
Who you are
- Masters degree in Exercise Physiology
- CPR and Current First Aid
- Current Driver’s License
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to develop appropriate exercise programs for all capacities and conditions
- High level of passion and motivation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Demonstrate an understanding of behavioural change
The successful candidate will have demonstrated in their application:
- Passion for working in the NDIS scope, athletic development and with people
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to rapidly build rapport with clients
- Evidence-based decision making and clinical justification
- Current indemnity insurance and ESSA membership (must be Accredited)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
