The role
We are looking for a curious and versatile Experience Designer who is obsessed with delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will own the end-to-end design from research, wireframing and prototyping, to building out visual language, patterns and styles for new Proof of Concepts, leading up to investment decisions and live Pilots. You will support existing x15 Ventures and Xcellerate winners with product/feature evaluations and designs.
You will be a trusted advisor and work collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions which customers love and push the boundaries.

Where would you fit?
This is a critical role within the x15 Portfolio team responsible for finding and investing in opportunities, then backing our Ventures to scale with CommBank strategic partnership leverage. You will be reporting to the Executive Manager Growth, responsible for driving and overseeing initiatives that accelerate the critical growth milestones of x15 and our ventures. This includes working closely with CommBank, x15 and our ventures to create best in class user experiences for new ventures and internal projects.

Key responsibilities:
Design world class human centred design experiences for a variety of new proof of concepts and x15 Ventures covering digital assets and products
Lead UX research, workshops and user testing to support prioritisation and investment decisions
Understand customer and business problems to co-create product strategy and inform digital product design, including customer feedback and analytics
Create high-fidelity designs, wireframes, and prototypes to test and communicate ideas to the business and developers
Plan and manage UX and design activity within project timelines and budgets
Support scrum team delivery through active participation in Agile rituals
Support marketing delivery activities
Be the custodian of great design and voice of customer for all things UX, UI, brand, and collateral at x15
Your skills and experience
4+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design, with a track record of delivering successful digital products or services
Exceptional UX and CX vision, recognising what a great customer experiences look and feel like and how to architect them
Expertise in crafting wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
Proficiency in interaction design, information architecture, and usability testing methodologies
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards
Passion for staying ahead of design trends, technologies, and best practices in the fintech industry
Team player with a positive attitude, strong collaboration skills, and effective communication
Bachelor or Master's in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
