Reporting to the Senior Departmental Liaison Officer, Ministerial and Executive Services Unit, you will be responsible for providing a single point of contact for complaints and enquiries from members of the public on behalf of Queensland Health and the Minister for Health, Mental Health and Ambulance Services and Minister for Women. You will also be responsible for facilitating the resolution of all complaints and enquiries by assessing each issue and liaising with stakeholders from across Queensland's public health system.You will be responsible for maintaining high quality records and documentation, and identify trends and implications to service delivery, and in the political and media landscape. You will also provide a crucial link between stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution while upholding the organisation's commitment to transparency and accountability. Your dedication to detail and adherence to procedures will not only safeguard the well-being of patients and staff but also foster a culture of continuous improvement within Queensland Health.The successful person
To be successful in the role, you will have a broad understanding of Queensland Health's operations, policies, services and structures to enable the rapid identification of areas within the organisation. You will have a strong ability to develop sensitive and practical responses to complex issues and have strong written, analytical and research skills. In addition to this, you will have highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels, and an ability to negotiate, build relationships and manage sensitive matters within a large, decentralised health service organisation to influence stakeholders.About us
