Your team

The Customer, Marketing and Communication (CMC) division's purpose is to attract and retain customers through experiences that are not only simple and useful, but also informed by strategy and insight.

The Digital Content and Experience Team, which sits within the CMC division, is responsible for championing experience across all of our digital channels and platforms. With digital interactions fast becoming the preferred way of banking, we are obsessed with creating the best possible digital experience for our customers, and we place them at the heart of everything we do.
Bankwest's Experience Design team drives the customer experience across our mobile app, online banking, and websites.

Your impact and contribution

• Plan and execute research activities that help to undercover customer needs
• Create intuitive designs for complex problems and rapidly iterate through customer testing of interactive prototypes
• Collaboratively work with multiple disciplines (like content writers, developers, business analysts, product owners and other designers)
• Present your design rationale and user insights to the UX team and key stakeholders across the organisation.

Skills and experience required:

• Strong research, UX and UI design skills with experience in mobile apps and/or web
• Strong knowledge of customer-centred design principles and usability testing methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
• Designs holistic experiences with big picture strategy
• Defines scope of UX work with key stakeholders
• Tackles undefined and complex projects
• A risk mindset and experience working in an Agile delivery framework.
