Avanti Pasticceria is a family owned wholesale Patisserie based in Glynde. We have been supplying cakes and pastries to many Adelaide eateries for over 50 years.
We are looking for a qualified, motivated and well organised Baker / Pastry chef to join our family.
Job tasks and responsibilities
We are seeking a Pastry chef with knowledge and experience in the following areas:
•Handmade individual cakes, tarts, slices and muffins plus larger tortes, cheesecakes and cakes.
•Experienced and interest in new product development
•Able to work in a busy time critical team environment
•Sound numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
•Good stock control and organisation skills.
•Fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
Position is 5 days a week including Saturday, 4am starts with Award penalty rates. Initially, Part time with view to moving to full time for the right candidate.
The applicant must have a minimum of 1 years on the job experience in this field or Certificate III in Patisserie and be permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident).
