Job Summary: As an Experienced Carpenter in our casual employment position, you will play a vital role in helping us fulfil our vision of creating outstanding outdoor living spaces. Key Responsibilities:
Carpentry Expertise: Utilize your comprehensive carpentry skills to construct outdoor structures, decks, and other amenities in a manner that reflects quality and precision.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow carpenters, apprentices, supervisor and project manager to complete projects efficiently and meet project deadlines.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a sharp eye for detail to guarantee that all carpentry work aligns with the highest quality standards, design specifications, and client expectations.
Quality Assurance: Uphold our commitment to delivering top-tier craftsmanship by consistently producing excellent work that exceeds client satisfaction.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a secure work environment for yourself and team.
Tool and Material Management: Efficiently manage and maintain carpentry tools, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity during projects.
Client Interaction: Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their questions, concerns, and providing insight into the carpentry process when needed as it pertains to their outdoor living projects.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any challenges that may arise during carpentry projects, working collaboratively with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 2 years in the field.
- Strong expertise in carpentry techniques, particularly in outdoor construction.
- Ability to read and interpret outdoor project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality work.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations within the outdoor construction industry.
- Own basic carpentry tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Carpentry certification or apprenticeship.
- Experience with construction software Tradify.
