Mandurah Country Club is seeking an Experienced Cook / Chef.
Mandurah Country Club is located in the heart of Halls Head, with over 1100 members.
The Club has always outsourced its Food Operations but with expansion of the building and operations, we are now bringing this in house, allowing an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Cook or Chef for a casual or full time position.
Our long-term Caterer will be managing our F&B operations, so it will be working under the direction and with support of the F&B Manager.
The position offers excellent lifestyle for the industry and although there will be busy periods and requirements to work over the seven days of the week, there will be great flexibilities. The kitchen closes the week before Christmas through the January period and allows for the busy Mandurah holiday period as leave.
The food requirements are diverse and the successful applicant will be adaptable and experienced to be able to excel at:
- All aspects of the kitchen in a small team.
- Grab and go food for golfers.
- Basic lunches for golfers.
- Al a carte food service.
- Functions up to 200 people.
Friday is the only regular evening meal service (some flexibilities can be arranged) with most meal services being day time. Functions are required in the evenings, with October to mid-December being the core busy period.
