We are currently seeking to enhance our team with the addition of an experienced Earthmoving/Off-the-Road (OTR) Tyre Fitter at our Parkes facility.
The Role:
As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operational efficiency of large-scale OTR and earthmoving tyres. Your role is critical to ensuring the safety and productivity of heavy machinery used in mining and civil construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed inspections and maintenance of various OTR and earthmoving tyres.
Expertly fit and remove tyres on heavy machinery using specialised equipment.
Provide on-site tyre repairs and emergency response services.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, standards, and practices, including the comprehensive use of PPE.
Manage tyre and related supplies inventory efficiently.
Collaborate with the operations team for scheduling maintenance and service activities.
Deliver exceptional customer service and technical advice.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven track record as an Earthmoving/OTR Tyre Fitter within the Australian mining and civil industries.
Extensive knowledge of tyre fitting techniques and safety standards for heavy machinery.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously in remote and demanding environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety.
A valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence.
Certification II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR21920).
A valid Forklift Licence.
