The ABM Group has been awarded a minimum 3 year coal development contract at Moolarben Mine which commenced mid-2023. Prior to this contract The ABM Group established an effective and well regarded team on site and continue to build on this success through our recruitment goals.
As we continue to expand our operations within New South Wales, at present we have a few exciting, long-term career opportunities positioned close to Mudgee. We are seeking skilled, safe and reliable team members who have experience in the roles of:
- Experienced U/g Development Fitter
- Experienced U/g Development Electrician
- Experience U/g Operators
Note: rates vary dependent on the roster.
Trades rates start from $72/hr as a full-time permanent Employee with ALL leave entitlements paid out on cessation and leave taken is paid at your site rate.
Subcontractor opportunities available for Trade positions $107-$125/hr dependent on roster.
Operator rates start from $61/hr as a full-time permanent Employee with ALL leave entitlements paid out on cessation and leave taken paid at your site rate.
The successful candidates will display excellent risk management and safety behaviours with a driven productivity focus.
Desirable Skills and Experience - Operators:
- Joy Miner Experience
- Miner Bolter Tickets
- LHD Ticket
- Shuttle Car Ticket
- Crew Transport Ticket
Desirable Skills and Experience - Fitters:
- Underground Diesels Experience (DES)
- Brake Testing
- Development Maintenance Experience
- Joy Miner Experience
Mandatory Requirements - Electricians:
- Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Qualifications
- Current Electrical Licence
- Current EEHA
- Current LVR/CPR
Mandatory Requirements for ALL positions:
- Minimum 12 months Underground experience
- Current Order 43 medical/willing to participate
