Join one of Australia's leading RTO's that deliver a wide range of qualifications in Transport and Logistics/Supply Chain, and become part of an ever expanding and highly experienced training team delivering on a dynamic Distribution Centre Contract for a large supermarket chain.
This RTO is seeking motivated and driven individuals with a strong commitment to providing quality training in a supportive and professional manner.
With a well-established student base and reputation, this RTO delivers workplace based training, and due to continued growth they are now seeking to engage a Trainer to deliver non-accredited training that closely aligns with the certificate 3 in Driving Operations.
The content delivered is induction type training for a new site, across areas such as pick and pack, product knowledge, SOPS for different parts of the supermarket, delivery driving etc.
The role begins in early July for 4 months, with some of the contract positions being extended to fulltime roles. Most trainers will work 38 hours per week on varying shifts across a Monday-Sunday cycle, however expressions of interest are welcome for trainers who can work less than a 38 hour week.
The role is centrally located in the middle of western Sydney.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners.
- Develop and deliver planned teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, using technology, including Moodle, to engage learners and meet their needs and styles.
- Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements
- Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
The ideal person for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Hold a Certificate III in Driving Operations is desirable but not essential
- > 5 years working in Supply Chain and/or distribution centres.
- Hold a current TAE OR an older version TAA or BSZ
- Extensive experience delivering accredited or non-accredited training in Supply Chain/Driving Operations
- The ability to work with students from various background
- Ability to work across various shifts
