Wood is currently seeking expressions of Interest from experienced Engineers, across a number of disciplines including, pipelines, subsea systems, subsea controls, structures and hardware to join our growing Consulting teams based in Staines and Aberdeen.

Due to significant growth plans for our consulting business, we are seeking to enhance our Technical Consulting team with experienced individuals who are driven by solving complex technical challenges for our clients, that are key to Energy security and transition.

We are seeking to speak with individuals that have a combination of skills including engineering and project management in all stages of project design from concept, FEED and detailed design.
The typical job roles that we are looking to fill are; Onshore and Offshore Pipeline Engineers, Subsea Hardware Engineer's, Subsea Controls Engineers, Subsea Project Manager's and Engineering Manager's.
Whichever role you come into you will interface with a multi-disciplinary team of highly capable Subject Matter Experts, Consultants and Engineers to deliver best in class solutions that will ensure high customer satisfaction. Typical responsibilities
The responsibilities for each role will differ depending on your experience level and which area you are focused on. However, across all roles you will:
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and produce designs and services to meet these needs
- Be flexible, supporting several projects at the same time without missing milestones
- Identify issues and propose solutions using innovative and novel solutions
- Complete technical design work to a high standard using Wood's and Client design methods, standards and data
- Challenge the status quo, support and be part of a group that seeks to grow and develop to be the best it can be
- Be a role model for Wood's behaviours; encouraging a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team that can have fun and enjoy the work we deliver
Skills and qualifications

Expected:
- Previous experience in an engineering role, preferably in the subsea or onshore pipeline industry
- Previous experience focusing on all stages of project design
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong customer focus and team-working skills
- Readily adaptable with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical, Civil, Electrical degree qualified
- Chartered Engineer
- Commercial awareness of project delivery
