AddressWe are looking for a solicitor who has practiced for a minimum of 5 years+ (can be much more than 5 years +) post admission in family law to join our specialist, boutique family law practice.
The successful candidate will have the following qualities/experience:
- Is either already an accredited family law specialist, or wants to work towards obtaining their family law specialist accreditation;
- Is able to run client files with minimal supervision, including appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia;
- Has experience with domestic violence matters, including appearing in the Magistrates Court whether on behalf of the aggrieved or the respondent;
- Is happy and able to work within a small team who work closely together;
- Strong drafting and technical skills with regard to both correspondence and Court documents;
- Is able to understand and collate financial disclosure documents;
- Is confident, and has excellent client service and communication skills so as to provide accurate and clear legal advice to clients in a manner which clients can understand;
- Is efficient and hard working;
- Is looking to stay in the position long term.
