The role is varied and includes:
- Assisting the grocery and gourmet department manager to deliver all products and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensuring consistent quality of GOURMET & grocery range.
- Food handling and Merchandising of gourmet/grocery stock.
- Helping with promotions and driving sales.
- Stocktakes and inventory control
- Delivering ongoing exceptional service to our customers.
The successful applicant will have an enthusiasm for retail and at least 4 years grocery and/or gourmet experience. Additional skills and attributes include:
- Strong time management and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and a team player focus with a strong drive and initiative.
- Fantastic customer service skills.
- A sound knowledge of safe work practices.
- 2 Years gourmet and/or grocery store experience.
- Excellent eye for detail and merchandising skill.
- Flexible availability over a 7-day roster and public holidays.
- Full time and part time hours available.
