Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications under instruction and direction of the Project Leader.
- Participate in, explore and challenge design dialogue.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors as required.
- Assist in the development of client presentation materials, including 3D models and renderings.
- Support the project team in various stages of project development, from conceptual design to construction documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to and research to aid in developing architectural design solutions.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that designs meet client requirements, building codes, and other regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors as required.
- Assist with the development of presentation, proposals and other marketing material as required.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 4 years professional experience in commercial architecture practice.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (minimum 3 years professional experience).
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop (minimum 3 years professional experience).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrable ability to complete work to deadlines.
- Strong design and visualization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
