About the role:
Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, the Open Cut Operator will provide safe and efficient operation of heavy earthmoving equipment to meet mine production and organisational targets.
Roster and Location:
- Both 4 Panel (2/3) rotating roster and Lifestyle (4/5) rotating rosters are available
- Please list in your application your roster preference
- Based out of our South or West Pit
About you:
- Experience operating tier 1 excavators.
- A NSW Drivers Licence.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Previous experience and competencies operating large mining equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Developed understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.
- Previous experience in the industry.
- Relevant qualifications.
- Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
- Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
