Position: Registered Nurse with Theatre Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assist in preparing patients, equipment, and instruments for surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist anaesthetists as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, theatre staff and our consultant regarding accreditation.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a theatre setting, with proficiency in scrubbing and circulating roles.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care and ensuring patient safety.
- Must have 5 years or more experience.
- 2-3 days a week
- Casual to start with and after 3 months permanent part time.
