SalaryGVC are providing recruitment support to an independent group of purpose-built Veterinary Hospitals in Melbourne, they are looking for an experienced Nurse to join their dedicated team in their clinic based in Melbourne's southeast.Nursing responsibilities:
- Surgical nursing, including the set up and shut down of theatre suite, monitoring anaesthetics and recovery of patients
- Reception duties, demonstrating clear verbal and written communication with clients and appropriate organisation of appointment booking
- General nursing duties, providing a high level of patient care
- Be professional and punctual in the workplace
- Ability to complete intravenous catheter placement, blood collections and laboratory work
- Performing X-rays and assisting with CT scans
- Experienced Veterinary Nurse who can complement the current team of veterinary professionals
- At least 2/3 years' experience working within a veterinary clinic
- Understand the importance of providing exceptional care for our pet clients & their family
- Building strong & meaningful relationships with both your colleagues & clients
- Highly motivated with exceptional organisation skills
