The Whitehorse Veterinary Hospital is an Accredited Veterinary Hospital of Excellence with a team of 9 vets and 15 support staff. After a recent hospital baby boom, we are on the lookout for our next Veterinary Nurse superstar to add to our amazing team of professionals. We have the opportunity for our new nurse to take on as much responsibility as you would like within the role, whilst making a difference to our treasured patients and pet owner’s lives. What we are looking for…
- You will ideally have a minimum of 2-3 years of veterinary nursing experience
- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is highly desirable or Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing
- You will have a strong desire to learn, develop and to continue to grow within the team
- You will have a passion for providing high end service to people and their pets
- You will enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Nursing; Reception, Nurse Consulting, Vet Technician & Surgery shifts, with the option to refine your skills or interests within a particular area if this is desirable to you!
What we can offer you!
- Lifestyle friendly working hours. The hospital closes at 7pm each weeknight and is open 8am-1pm on Saturdays (1 in 8 Saturday shifts will be required for this position). We are closed on Sundays and on Public Holidays
- Remuneration is above award and there is always the opportunity for growth and further development within the team
- Fortnightly team lunch provided. We close the hospital for 2 hours to hold a full team meeting where every staff member can feel heard and have ideas exchanged.
