Expression Of Interest- Disability Support Worker

We are looking for dedicated Qualified Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL)Home. Mon - Fri & Weekend services Availability from 6:30am (weekdays) and sleepovers Central Broadbeach location Duties and responsibilities include: Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress Provide updates on customer progress following each service About you: Caring, compassionate & friendly Reliable & dependable Ability to build rapport & good working relationships Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback What you will need: Experience in understanding Disability Hold a Certificate III or IV Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services Manual Handling and assist clients with medication (HLTHPS006) required NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check Current First Aid certificate/CPR Current Australian Drivers License Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle Smart phone with internet access Current Working with Children Check About us: Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and Disability Support services, supporting people to live independently.
