Job description

We are actively seeking a Commis Chef to join our team. Working within the Pearl Diver kitchen you will be part of a small close knit passionate team. You will assist in delivering amazing experiences for our guests and a product that exceeds expectations.  

Pearl Diver

Pearl Diver is an engaging and vibrant Oyster bar specialising in great, well curated food, thoughtful wine and mixed drinks and oysters from around Australia. We do the simple things well, with a high level of attention to detail and will continually exceed customer expectations by delivering a polished yet casual service environment with a curated and exciting offering, to be enjoyed alongside the freshest oysters and elevated bar food menu. 

About you:

  • Trade qualification or equivalent (Cert III in Commercial Cookery)
  • Dedication to the production, preparation, and presentation of dishes of the highest quality
  • Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
  • Team player attitude and willingness to work within a large, diverse team.
  • Commitment and passion for high-end service always ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Adhere to strict stock rotation and minimum wastage guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe working environment.
  • Want to learn, grow and progress within the industry.
