Tarampa and its associated arms is an innovative accommodation and support service organisation partnering with customers striving to reach their individual goals. Tarampa Lodge has been operating for over 44 years and is a family run service which prides itself on projecting a family atmosphere. Tarampa Assist is a registered NDIS Provider assisting customers in the community with their daily living needs, social outings, transport, support coordination etc. In order to meet customer demand, we are continuing to recruit for amazing Lifestyle Support Workers who are dedicated and committed to partnering with customers, resulting in outcomes that enhance their life.
About your Role
- Must be available to work any day or night (including sleepovers) up to 38 hours per week on a 7-day roster
- Assisting customers in their daily lives including access to the community
- Providing observation, support, feedback and reporting to maintain continuity of service for each customer
- Assisting customers within rostered time frames
- Commitment to work safely and within legislation and Organisational Policy and Procedures
- Variety of skills which may include but are not limited to sleepovers, weekends, public holidays, shower support, medication assistance, cooking, cleaning, operating a motor vehicle, gardening, craft, activities etc.
Applicants must have:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
- Current Working with Children (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR
- Willing to obtain Pre-employment Medical, Certificate 3 Individual Support (Disability), Assist Clients with Medication, Food Handling Certificate, NDIS Worker Orientation, COVID Training etc.
- Clean Driving Record (must obtain Driver History Report Annually)
- Drivers Licence
