We're currently seeking talented and experienced individuals with experience in the Asphalt Industry, Civil Construction, Road Maintenance and Quarries to express their interest in being part of our team for upcoming projects. Positions will be based in Cairns and surrounding areas.
We are particularly interested in filling the following positions:
• Machine Operators
• Asphalt Workers
• Plant Operators
• Dump Truck/ Moxy Operators
• Leading Hand
All applicants must be wiling to work night shifts and remotely if required.
Skills & Attributes
• Current at least MR driving licence
• Relevant Machinery Tickets
• Industry White Card
• Sound oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time and workload management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
• Full Australian working rights
Key Duties
• Machine Operations
• Working around bulk earthworks and services
• Working on Civil Construction projects
• Assist on the ground with site labourers where required
• Capacity to undertake multiple driving tasks involved in road construction
• Daily pre-start checks and regular vehicle maintenance
