The Opportunity 

TAMS Group are currently seeking “Expressions of Interest” for Marine Engineer Class 3 who have relevant experience performing general Engineering duties on-board marine assets.  The role is to fulfill the duties of a Marine Engineer Class 3 across a marine fleet currently operating in the Pilbara. Western Australia. 

Candidate Requirements

• Appropriate sea-going experience as MEC 3 Engineer on Transhipper, Tug or Multicat.
• AMSA Marine Engineer Class 3 or above
• AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness
• MSIC
• Certificate of Safety Training (STCW)
• Senior First Aid 
• High level of Computer literacy 
• Commitment to health, safety, community, and environment
• Experience in operating under Safety Management Systems, Planned Maintenance Systems. 
• Experience associated with Transhipment services or cargo handling, while preferred is not necessarily required. 

Applicants with the below will be highly regarded

• SAP experience
• Free fall life boat passenger or operator
• Currently a resident of Western Australia
