The Role
In consultation with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and/or Registered Nurse, the Extended Care Assistant will assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of a range of diversional therapy programs to assist with daily living.:
- Assist patients of ARU with personal care needs, as directed by nursing staff.

Details of Appointment
Multiple permanent, full time and part time shift-worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary
$60,666 - $63,222 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility

- Current First Aid Certificate
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

- crimes involving dishonesty.
