About the role:
Extended Care Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed aged care professionals at Uniting AgeWell Ningana in Sorell. We work together by providing personalised support to deliver the best possible care and services to residents to meet their individual needs and preferences.
- Permanent part time morning, afternoon and overnight shifts
- Weekdays and weekends
- Minimum of 3 shifts per week
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting residents with daily living and mobility duties such as showering, feeding and toileting to enhance daily life
- Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
- Recognising changes in clients conditions and report observations and concerns
About you:

- Hold a current Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Are known for your caring and compassionate nature

- Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Available to commit to a minimum of three permanent rostered shifts per week
- Communicate effectively with a pleasant and positive nature

- A current Working With Children & Vulnerable People card
- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance
