Form of workOn behalf of my clients who are a leading organisation in the financial services sector I am currently looking for experienced External Auditor who have experience gained in the banking and financial services sector.
The roles range from intermediate (consultant level) all the way up to Director level and my clients are able to consider candidates looking for both full time permanent opportunities or long term day rate contract roles.
The positions will be based in Sydney and at this stage we are only able to consider candidates that can work full time hours or at least 4 days per week.
Ideally candidates should be permanent residents of Australia with full work rights however my clients are able to take over sponsorship of visas if required and are also open to candidates on working holiday visas providing they have the relevant experience and can be based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rigorous External Audits in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Apply specialized knowledge of financial markets to assess complex financial statements and transactions.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market trends and financial data analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive audit reports.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and changes in financial market regulations.
Requirements:
- At least 3 + years experience as an External Auditor, with a focus on financial markets preferably within banking.
- Strong understanding of financial market operations, instruments, and regulations.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
