We are seeking an individual full of energy and a can-do attitude to join a young and vibrant team as an External Relations Coordinator. This role is 3 days a week (full-time after the first 3 months), 100% on-site for 12 months with the possibility of extension or going permanent.
The External Relations Coordinator will work together with the Head of External Relations ANZ in supporting the execution of a Federal & State Government Relations strategy, as well as several other strategic stakeholder engagement activities to grow and position the Australian business.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating meetings and engagements with Ministerial offices, departments, and agencies
- Assisting with the drafting and production of business material to support key engagements.
- Coordinate material production and marketing supporting through a third-party marketing supplier.
- Attend and support engagements both in Victoria/NSW/QLD/WA when required.
- Coordinate events and stakeholder visits to showcase company technology.
- Supporting the President of International Operations and Head of External Relations in investor engagement activities. (Material preparation, meeting coordination etc….)
- Proficient in computer use
- Strong knowledge and ability to use MS Office Suites
- Ability to create presentations with given data and information
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong levels and fluency in communication
- No formal tertiary qualification required but a degree in marketing, communications or public relations is desirable
- Minimum of 2 years in administration/executive assisting/personal assisting
- Experience in booking appointments/accommodation/travel
- Experience and ability to communicate with external stakeholders
- An individual looking to get back into the workforce (i.e. maternity leavers)
