About this opportunity
Located in Newcastle's CBD, we are seeking a motivated self-starter with strong administration, interpersonal and organisational skills to join our fast-paced team.
The role is permanent full-time and reports to the External Relations Manager, with the External Relations team supporting our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) customer organisations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
External Relations
- Assisting the External Relations Manager in effectively managing EAP clients, including acting as a point of contact and managing external relation matters when the manager is unavailable.
- Conduct interviews with small organisations and draft proposals and submit these to potential EAP clients.
- Effectively oversee and administer commercial fees associated with proposals and workplace services.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Managing Director through tender processes.
- Providing support with critical incident responses.
- Collaborate with the External Relations Manager to identify and acquire new opportunities to actively expand the EAP client base. This entails close coordination with the Marketing and Communications Officer to drive growth for NewPsych.
- Maintain EAP contracts by diligently monitoring contract expiration dates.
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for EAP clients, striving to cultivate a positive and seamless client experience.
- Ensure the accuracy and punctuality of EAP billings, payments etc. and liaise with Accounts Team regarding same.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of EAP data, including review, finalisation and dissemination of EAP usage reports.
- Provide assistance with collating and drafting other reports as needed, including following critical incidents, training and other workplace services.
- Collaborate with the External Relations Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs by NewPsych.
- Provide appropriate support for workplace interventions, including but not limited to fitness for work assessments, leader training, and coaching initiatives.
About You
- A minimum qualification of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required for this position, providing a strong foundation of academic knowledge and expertise, or an appropriate level of demonstrated relevant skills and experience
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and evaluate complex data to inform decision-making processes.
- Exceptional commercial acumen to drive strategic initiatives and maximise business opportunities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to foresee obstacles and make informed decisions.
- High levels of both verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly express complex ideas.
- Strong sense of accountability and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, manage daily tasks and work on future administrative requirements/initiatives, etc.
- Strong project management capabilities
- Possess outstanding writing skills coupled with a keen ability to understand and adhere to copyright guidelines, ensuring the creation of compelling and original content while maintaining legal and ethical standards.
